Vaskuna keeps your health information on your phone.

The short version: there is no account and no Vaskuna server, and nothing about your health is uploaded. We cannot see your answers, your sessions or your readings, because Vaskuna never sends them to us or to anyone else. The one thing Vaskuna sends from your phone is the record of a subscription purchase, explained under Payments.
What Vaskuna stores
- Your answers to the eleven setup questions
- The plan built from those answers, and which sessions you completed
- Any blood pressure readings you choose to type in
- Your reminder preferences
All of it is written to your device's local storage. Deleting the app deletes it from your phone, permanently and immediately. A backup of your phone made before then still holds a copy until that backup is replaced or deleted.
Backups and a new phone
If your iPhone backs up to iCloud or to a computer, the backup includes what Vaskuna stores, as it does for your other apps. Apple makes and keeps that backup, protected as the rest of it is. Vaskuna never sees it and adds nothing to iCloud itself.
This is how your history comes with you to a new iPhone: set the new phone up from your old one, or from a backup of it. If you would rather Vaskuna were not in your iCloud backup, you can switch it off in the iCloud settings on your iPhone, where each app's backup is listed.
Apple Health
If you grant permission, Vaskuna reads walking workouts recorded in Apple Health so they count toward your weekly total. It does not use your daily step count or turn steps into exercise minutes.
Vaskuna never writes anything to Apple Health, and never shares health data with anyone, for advertising or any other purpose. You can withdraw the permission at any time in the Health app, and Vaskuna keeps working without it.
Blood pressure readings
Vaskuna does not measure blood pressure and has no ability to. If you use a cuff at home you can type the two numbers in yourself. Vaskuna stores them on your device and draws them back on a chart. It does not interpret them, score them, or tell you what they mean.
Usage analytics in the app
Vaskuna ships with analytics switched off. No usage data is collected or sent.
If that ever changes, this page will change with it, a setting will appear under You to turn it off, and what would be sent is limited to which screens are opened. Never a blood pressure reading, never an answer you gave, never anything that identifies you.
What we do not do
- No account, no email address, no sign-up
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers
- No tracking across apps or websites
- No selling of data, and nothing passed to advertisers
- Nothing put in iCloud by Vaskuna. The only copy away from your phone is in your own backup, if you make one
Payments
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple. Vaskuna never sees your card or any other payment detail.
To know whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat receives a random identifier made for your copy of the app, the record of your Vaskuna purchases from Apple, and basic technical details such as the app version and the country of your App Store account. It does not receive your name or your email address, and it receives nothing about your health: no answers, no sessions, no readings.
That purchase record is not tied to your identity by us, and it is not used for advertising or to track you.
This website
vaskuna.app is served by Cloudflare, which counts visits for us without cookies and without building a profile of anyone. We see totals only: which pages were opened, roughly where in the world visitors were, and which site sent them.
If you email us, we receive your address and what you write, and use them only to reply.
Children
Vaskuna is intended for adults and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes in a way that affects you, the change will appear here with a new date, and in the app before it takes effect.
